Spring is (almost) Here!

In recent days, there has been a noticeable change afoot in lovely Oamaru. The sounds of birds building nests are getting louder, rhubarb shoots have begun to emerge from the soil, and even a few daffodils have already bloomed. All of these are sure signs that spring is around the corner. It’s been a pretty nice winter, with typical blue skies, calm winds and frosty mornings that turn into comfortable, bright days. And while the past few days have brought rather heavy rains, they should mean plenty of water for the crops and flowers to bloom with as spring sets in in just a bit more than two weeks. What a wonderful time to be in beautiful Oamaru!
