Sustainable Skills Courses Return to Oamaru

After the success of the Sustainable Skills Summer School this past January, the Sustainable Skills people are returning for an autumnal running of these fascinating and very useful courses for people interested in learning those basic skills that our forebears used to take for granted. Examples are rag-rug making, paper making and bookbinding, guitar playing, bicycle maintenance, and much more. These courses filled up very quickly in the summer, so if you’re interested in boning up on these skills, contact the organisers and book your spot soon! The courses will run from 14 to 24 April 2012, and information on the courses and how to book are on the Transition Oamaru website, which you can reach by clicking here.
